Data Visualization with Observable
I spent the fall semester of 2023 learning about publicly available, credible data sources and exploring tools to manipulate that data. My goal is to enhance my stories with information extracted from the data.
Observable is a framework based on the D3 JavaScript library. It can be used to analyze datasets and build custom, interactive visualizations.
I used Observable to build the dynamic chart below. It illustrates how I spent my 18 weeks of independent study. Select Time or Category to re-order my activities. Mouse-over each bar for more details.
